As I mention in my last post HERE I love Stampin' Up! but nobody does Halloween like Tim Holtz. Today's post combines the best of both worlds...Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper and Tim Holtz Halloween Dies. Basically the same card done with two different dies from Tim and Sizzix.
This card uses the Tim Holtz Cobwebs Thinlits Die. Ohmygosh, how cool is that? It is so intricate and the lines are so skinny I would highly recommend using the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets from Stampin' Up!. Super sticky and no messy glue lines on my acetate. Simply apply to the back side of your cardstock before running through your Big Shot and peel away the backing to glue down. Easy Peasy.
In case you couldn't tell I am totally obsessed with shaker cards lately. I have more sequins and shaker filling than any one person could ever possibly use but I keep finding more cute fillers to add to my stash. Both the orange gems and the black spider sequins are a few years old and were part of my stash. Those spider sequins were perfect for this card though don't you think?
My next card uses the Ornate Owl from Tim Holtz. Again, the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets are a must for this die. I made two of these, one with gold sequins and one with an orange metallic sequins. I'm not sure which one I like better but I don't think you can really tell the difference from the photos.
Both versions use the Spooky Nights Designer Series Paper on a So Saffron card base and the Spooky Cat stamp Set for the sentiment. I have one more card in my Tim Holtz Halloween series to share with you so please check it out tomorrow! Thanks for stoppin' by!
