Welcome back to our Blogging Friends Blog Hop! I'm so glad you stopped by today! Our theme this month is Summer Fun and I'm sure my fellow Blogging Friends have given you lots of fun summer ideas to jump start you summer creativity!
Living in southwest Florida, it's pretty much summer all year long for me. So, this month, I thought I'd play with a Florida icon...the Flamingo from the new Pop of Paradise Stamp set.
With putting our house on the market and all but the bare necessities of my craft room packed up, this is the first time I have had the opportunity to play with my new toys. (in fact I spent a half hour searching for my corner rounder in the making of this card which is apparently already packed in a box somewhere)
I broke out three of my new In Colors for the first time...Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach and of course Flirty Flamingo. The background paper is from the Playful Pallet Designer Series Paper Stack.
Being a Floridian I love this set but I wish it had a matching set of dies, especially for the flamingo. But, I have a Silhouette Cameo and was able to scan the stamped images and create a die cut with my Silhouette. Problem solved! (I HATE to fussy cut and I can't cut a straight line)
Please be sure to follow along to the next stop on the hop which is Crystal's Blog for some more summer time inspiration. I know you won't be disappointed!
