Are You Ready for Some Football?

This Sunday I will be hosting my very first Annual Super Bowl Bingo Bash!  We will be having fun playing Bingo for some awesome Stampin' Up! prizes, making some beautiful cards, tasting some pre-game munchies, and catching up with friends and I will still have everyone home in time for the kick-off and commercial viewing!  

I have been having so much fun all week prepping for my Super Bowl Bingo Bash and what's a Super Bowl Party without beer, right? Okay, it may be Root Beer but how cute are these?  My root beer wraps were created using my Silhouette Cameo and some Bazzil textured card stock. I'll admit It's going to hurt me just a little bit to throw these away in the recycle bin!  

Next on the roster are my (famous) Caramel Corn referee's on the field and ready for the game to begin!  I filled some little cello bags with my (famous) Caramel Corn and stuffed them into my French Frye Treat Boxes made with the Fry Box Bigz Die from Stampin' Up!  

Their "shirts" were stamped with the All About Sugar stamp set from the 2015/2016 Annual Catalog in Basic Black Archival Ink.  This is the blackest black ink EVER!  The whistles around their "necks" were also cut with my Silhouette Cameo and tied on with some Basic Black Bakers Twine.

A Nice Cuppa Card & Treat

As much as I love making cards, my favorite thing is creating boxes and bags.  Even better if they are meant to hold a chocolaty treat. The fact that this one holds not only chocolate but a tea bag too is just an added bonus IMHO.  

Add a matching card and you have a cute little gift to surprise someone with.

The "A Nice Cuppa"  stamp set and the "Cups & Kettle" Framelits Dies are by far my favorite bundle in the new Occasions Catalog. Add the "Have A Cuppa" Designer Series Paper 6x6 stack and there is no way you can go wrong!  

My little box is made in one piece with no cutting!  Just a few scores and a few quick folds and you are good to go.  You can find the box tutorial HERE, I just re-sized to fit the pouch for my Twinings tea bag and Ghiradelli chocolates.  If you would like the cutting and scoring instructions for mine, they are as follows:  

Cut desired Card Stock at 5.25 x 8

Score long side at 1.25" on each side

Score short side at 3.5 from each end

 Tea and chocolate...the prefect combination!

Bear Hugs Valentine Treats

I miss the days when my boys were little and we could sit and create special treats for their friends and classmates.  Since I am still a few years away from grandchildren (no pressure boys!) I have to live vicariously through other peoples children and borrow a crafty young helper every now and then.  This was a stamp camp project last month but I made up a few extras to keep on my desk for when the boss' kids stop by.  

I have a serious addiction to all things white chocolate and peppermint so when I found these Christmas M&M's at my local CVS on sale for 75% off I grabbed every bag they had left.  I'm sure the guy that rang me up was wondering what I was going to do with 8 bags of peppermint M&M's, LOL!  

Who says peppermint is only for Christmas?  The red and white candies are the perfect combination for Valentines Day and they are a perfect fit for our 1x8 cello bags.  They are a little chunkier than regular M&M's so it is a bit of a tight squeeze but if you just keep feeding the bag from the top and don't try to push them down they will cooperate nicely.  

A little tag topper with a cute little bear from the Bear Hugs set (from the Occasions Catalog) and my treats were almost ready to go. He is holding a heart that is as big as he is but I think my little Valentines will appreciate the sentiment!

Sweet Sixteen

Today's card was created for the Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.  Choose any row across, down or diagonally on the Tic-Tac-Toe board and use those three elements to create a card.  What fun!  

I chose the center line across for my card...Die Cuts, Pink and Girly.  Girly is a little out of my comfort zone since I have three boys but I love the way this turned out.  

I used the same drapery fold that I used on this card HERE but what a difference a change in Designer Series Paper makes!  These bright, fun, festive prints make for a great birthday card and the Crushed Curry/Melon Mambo combination is perfect for my girly sweet 16!  

I used several new products from both the Occasions and the Sale-a-Bration catalogs.  The birthday candles and confetti papers are from the new It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack.  If you haven't ordered this pack yet it really needs to go on your Wish List! 48 sheets of 12x12 double sided designs, 4 each of 12 different patterns...that's 24 different coordinating designs to choose from!
