Sometimes I think I treat my stamp sets like my children. You love them all equally but sometimes one needs a little more of your attention than another so you focus a little more on that one until the tides change. I am finding my Embellished Ornament set very needy lately and constantly screaming for my attention. It sits out on my table refusing to be buried under my Halloween and Fall sets, like that middle child who refuses to get lost between his older and younger brothers. (Love you Thomas!) But, it's time to let them take a back seat for a little while and let another sibling have the spotlight. But first, this card was just too pretty and shiny and all Christmassy Awesomeness not to be shared.
Stampin' Up! has done an awesome job this year of giving us so much sparkle and shine to play with! This card is all shine and I am loving it! That beautiful candy cane stripe background is our new Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. This paper comes in three patterns: green foil trees, red candy cane stripes and silver snowflakes. Each one equally awesome.
The foiled vellum was adhered with snail adhesive wherever there was a stripe so it wouldn't show through the vellum. The new Lots of Labels Framelits Dies were used for the Red Foil and Whisper White layers and my Delicate Ornament was die cut with more Red Foil Paper. Our foil papers are the best and perfect for embossing or die cutting. If you haven't tried them yet you are missing out!
This set is going to take a little bit of a break so you won't see it for at least a week or so. Time to give the other "children" equal time! Oh, and don't forget the envelope! Our new Real Red Envelope Paper is the perfect match!
I'll be back tomorrow with some non-Christmassy goodness and maybe even a Stamp Camp sneak peek. Thanks for stoppin' by and please come back again!
