I had hoped to spend most of the afternoon in my craft room today but I never made it in there until after dinner tonight. I did manage to get my Friday night and Saturday morning class supplies put away and make this card:
It is not a typical A2 card size but measures 3.5 by 6. I cut my card stock on the long side at 6 inches and then scored every 3.5 inches at 3.5, 7.0 and 10.5. You will have a 1/2 inch seam left over at the end. You will need to cut a final panel from another piece of card stock at 3.5 by 6 and glue together with the seam on the back. My Designer Series Paper mats were cut at 3 3/8 by 5 7/8. I then cute out my graduating stars with my Stampin' Up! Framelits Die using the largest die on the front and working my way back. Your finished card should look like this when opened:
I used the All is Calm Designer Series Paper from the new Holiday Catalog. This paper is absolutely beautiful and I love the shades of blues and greens. This pack also comes with two foil sheets that I have not been able to bring myself to cut into yet, lol. This is what is looks like up close when the card is flat:
I am off to make a matching envelope for my card. Please stop by again tomorrow for a special Halloween/Thanksgiving project I have been working on. Thanks for stoppin' by!
