I can't tell you how many packs of Witches Brew Designer Series Paper I have gone through in the last three months. A lot. I planned my recent Tricks and Treats class around this DSP pack and the new polymer stamp set Bite Me. A good time was had by all, this is just one of the cards we made that day:
As you can see, very little stamping on this one. The large skull image that is the focal point is just one of the super cool and spooky pieces of paper from this pack. I trimmed the image to 5x5, layered it on top of a 5 1/4" square of Crushed Curry Card Stock and added a 3/4" stripe for a pop of color. I used black eyelash yarn (one of my favorite Halloween embellishments) and a black brad to hold my stamped sentiments in place. All of this Halloween goodness was attached to a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black card base.
What I neglected to photograph was the inside of the card and the matching envelope. Since you need a gel pen to write on black I wanted to make it a little easier to write a note inside and have the inside of my card finished off to match the outside. I simply cut a 5 1/4" square of Very Vanilla Card Stock and trimmed the left side with another 3/4" strip of the same stripe that is on the outside of the card. The matching envelope was yet another piece of paper from the same Witches Brew Designer Series Paper pack. You can catch a glimpse of it in this post HERE.
More Tricks and Treats Class projects coming soon including an awesome new recipe you won't want to miss!
Enjoy your day and thanks for stoppin' by!
