I've said it before and I'll say it again. Working for a living seriously gets in the way of my creative time. Add to that husband, kids, a house that constantly needs cleaning, committees (because I haven't learned to just say NO), and my Stampin' Up! business and there is very little precious time left for my own personal crafting. (and because I don't have enough to keep me busy, stay tuned for the launch of my Etsy store!)
But, that being said, I am the proud new owner of a Silhouette Cameo. (why did it take me so long to invest in one of these?) I have been making time. The house may be filthy and I may not be getting much sleep but I will find a way to play. So, while the weekend winds down, the house is (relatively) clean, the groceries are put away and my husband is glued to a football game, Sunday afternoon has become my Silhouette time. I'd thought it would be fun to share some of my my Sunday Silhouette creations. Whenever possible, I will always use my favorite Stampin' Up products with my Silhouette.
Just not today....but only because Stampin' Up! doesn't sell vinyl.
Along with my Silhouette came my new obsession with vinyl. You're gonna to see a lot of it. Here are a few of my first attempts at vinyl application. I'm getting better with each one:
How cool is that? I just learned how to curve my text so the "Happy Halloween" follows the curve of the plate. I have to admit, I impressed myself with that one.
Thanks for stoppin' by my blog today and please leave a comment so I know you were here!
