Spooky Printed Paisley

I love the colors of the Wicked Fun Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!  The purples and greens mixed in with traditional orange and black make Halloween so much more fun!  I used the heart stamp from the Printed Paisley set in the new Holiday Mini and heat embossed the hearts with Versamark ink and Basic Black Embossing Powder.  I used the large heart punch and popped them up with Stampin' dimensionals.  Black Satin 5/8" Ribbon and the new Glitter Brads (also in the new Holiday Mini) finish off my spooky cool card.  Thanks for stoppin by! 

Wicked Cool Note Pads

My group of fabulous stampers made these Wicked Cool note pads at Stamp Camp last week.  The notepads are from the Target dollar Spot and match Stampin' Up's Rich Razzleberry Card  Stock perfectly.  The Wicked Fun Designer Series Paper is also a perfect match.

Missing Fall...

I am a transplanted New Englander living on the Gulf Coast of Florida.  I soooo miss the fall in New England...picking apples, hay rides, pumpkin patches, cool, crisp sweater weather and especially the changing colors of the leaves. (although raking them was never a favorite pastime of mine!)  So, this card is just me missing home.

I used the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up! for my background.  (don't you get the feeling of swirling leaves?)  The leaves  and pumpkin from the Paisley Prints set were stamped using the baby wipe technique and Riding Hood Red and Pumpkin Pie reinkers.  Linen thread wrapped around the base and a pop-dotted pumpkin adds the finshing touch!  Click on any of the active links for more information on any of the Stampin' Up products used today.  Thanks for stoppin by!

I have officially moved into Fall mode!  I am breaking out the Halloween decorations this weekend and my dining room table is covered with scraps of my new Wicked Fun Specialty Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!  I LOVE this paper!  Two of the sheets are flocked and those of you out there with serious paper addictions know what I mean when I say I can't stop touching it!  Stay tuned for a mini stamp camp that I will be posting in a day or two using this paper but for now on to my card...
Does this look Spooky or what?  I love the Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry color combo for Halloween.  (no Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie around here, lol!) My black background piece was run through my Spider Web Embossing Folder from the new Holiday Mini and then sponged lightly with a sponge dauber and my Platinum Shimmer Paint.  I sponged the edges of my Razzleberry Scallop Circle with Basic Black Classic Ink, mounted it to the center of my Origami fold (see this post HERE for directions on this fold), and cut the witches boots from the Wicked Cool Stamp Set for the top of my Scallop Circle.  I stamped the Spooky sentiment, also from the Wicked Cool set, punched it out with my Large Oval Punch and sponged the edges in Basic Black.  The ribbon is non Stampin' Up that I have had in my stash for years but it was too perfect not to use it!
