I LOVE the new Stampin' Up set "
Morning Cup"! How cute is this? What a great, easy little gift for a teacher, bus driver, mail carrier...you get the idea. The card was inspired by one I saw by Erica Cerwin on Stampin' Connection, our Demo-only sharing site. (just one of the great perks of being a Stampin Up Demonstrator!) The tea cup and tea bag were stamped on
Whisper White Card Stock with
Black Staz-On ink and colored with
Marina Mist Classic Ink and a
Blender Pen. The entire piece was then run through the new
Square Lattice Embossing Folder and the
Big Shot. It is a little hard to see in the photo but I stamped and cut out an extra tea bag, popped it up with
Stampin' Dimensionals and added some
Linen thread and my tiny little "tea-riffic " sentiment that was punched with the
Jewelry Tag Punch. The little tea bag holder comfortably holds two tea bags and is super quick and easy to put together using my
Big Shot and the
Scallop Envelope Die. Just cut two envelopes and place a piece of
Sticky Strip across the base only of the bottom flap. This will create a divider inside the holder and will leave an open crease at the bottom so your holder will stand up on its own. Leave the back side of your envelope flap up for support and use
Sticky Strip for the side seams. Fold the front flap down and decorate as desired. I layered my flap to match my card front and finished it off with a
Basic Black Stain Ribbon bow and another "tea-riffic" tag.
Thanks for stoppin' by!
