I am back from the CHA Supershow in Orlando and OMG we had a BLAST! The person in the photo above is my friend and upline Karen. She flew in from CT on Friday night to join me and my Naples girlfriends for the CHA weekend! We saw so many new products and product lines, met some great people (both men & women!) while standing in line for the all the FREE Make & Takes, and actually got to meet and hang out with some of our paper crafting idols! There were papercrafting Rock Stars everywhere you turned! I was casually walking down one isle and was pleasantly suprised to see the Paper Trey Inc Booth. I turned the corner to go into their booth and walked directly into NICLOE HEADY! For once in my life I was completely speachless....you would have thought I had just seen Elvis, LOL! I was so starstruck I did not get a picture but we took some fabulous shots of all the beautiful samples in the PTI Booth.
Karen & Daven from SCS!
One of our favorite stops was the Splitcoast Stampers booth. We met Daven (the creator and cyber genius behind SCS), Lori, Beate & Jen! For more info on the SCS booth and the team members check out the CHA Forum HERE!
Me & Jen Balcer from SCS!
One of the highlights of my weekend was meeting and hanging out with JEN BALCER from SCS! If you have never seen any of Jen's work check out her SCS gallery HERE or better yet, check out her Blog HERE! She sat and talked to us for over 20 minutes while we waited to do one of the SCS Make & Takes. (Which was FAB, BTW, but more on that later) I have been following Jen for years on SCS. She is so talented...I am in awe of her work and check her blog regularily for inspiration. Definitely a Rock Star moment for me!
Cricut himsellf!
By far the largest and busiest booth at the show was Provo Craft. The Make & Takes were fabulous (but again, more on those later) and the lines were very long and very slow. We did manage to get one of their Make & Takes done and we had a blast hanging out with the people we met in line. Provo Craft gave a ton of things away including Cricut machines, lots of cartridges (some yet-to-be released) a Utee, and several of the elusive new Gypsies. Anytime there was a drawing at the Provo Craft booth it created a feeding frenzy of hopefuls but sadly no one in my group was that lucky this weekend!
Lynn, Tracy, Me & Karen!
The last photo for tonight is a group shot of my girlfriends before we went into the show. Two of our group members (Krista & Maria) are missing as we met them on the show floor and once we hit the floor we were on sensory overload and not in a photo op frame of mind! There was just too much to see and do!
I'll post more tomorrow night after work and show you some of the Make & Takes we did! Until then Happy Stampin' & thanks for stoppin by!
