This is my first gift bag and it turned out so well I

had a really hard time parting with it! I love the
Parisian Breeze textured paper from Stampin Up
and I will be so sad to see it go as it is on the "Last
Chance" list. That means as soon as Stampin' Up sells out of the current inventory it is gone forever. The only consolation is that I know there will be more fabulous paper choices in the new catty that debutes July 1st! I have seen a sneak peek and let me tell you the 6 new In Colors are go'jus!
Anyway, let me tell you about my gift bag. I found the directions
HERE and once you get the bottom folds down it really was quite easy and went together very quickly. It

does take two peices of 12x12 paper, preferably double-sided
and preferably Stampin up!
I used the Perisian Breeze textured paper for my bag. The weight of the textured paper makes the bag very sturdy and strong enough to hold a fairly large gift. I used the Eyelet Border punch for my contrasting trim. The little tag envelope on the front is our Stampin Up exclusive Scallop Envelope Sizzix die. I finished it off with the 5 petal flower punch and Baja Breeze Bouton Bouquet button. Jumbo eyelets and a Baja Breeze striped 5/8" grossgrain ribbon handle complete my bag.
The little matching Desk Notes were made using a
Timeless Template from Papertrey Ink. If you have never tried these templates before, they are so much fun, so easy to put together, and they make it so easy to personalize a special hand-made gift! The notes themselves are just computer paper that has been cut into fourths and stamped . How cute is that?

I created this as a door prize for a class I held today. My gift bag also included the level one Hostess set Gods Beauty. (Congratulations Stacee for winning the prize!)
Thanks for stoppin' by!
